Mon Cheri was established in 2003. The founders are Hannes and Magda Gerber and they have been in the perfume business for many years. Both Hannes and Magda has a business background and received dealer awards in their previous businesses in 1997 and 1999. The other member is Coenie Coetzee. Coenie also has business background and with a Commerce degree is a qualified accountant.

The company consist of various Franchises and Agents all over South Africa as well as Namibia, Botswana and other neighboring countries.
